Business advice at a comedy club? It’s no joke!
Friday 18th September
Business advisors in Burnley and Pendle are proving there are no limits to where they’ll go to give local people information about starting a business, as they head for a market, a leisure centre and even a comedy club.
A team from No Limits Get Set will be encouraging people to think about setting up their own business, and telling them about the free support available.
Kate Mayers from No Limits said: “We have loads of help and advice for people who want to start a business, so we’re getting out and about to make sure that we tell people across Burnley all about it. If you’ve got an idea for a business, or even if you’re just thinking you’d like to be your own boss, we’re there to give you a hand.”
The roadshow will visit St Peter’s Leisure and Health Centre, the Apollo Cinema, Tesco and the Charter Walk Shopping Centre. And on two evenings, the No Limits team will be at Burnley Mechanics, including on September 24 for the Jester Society Comedy Club.
But the team are keen to stress that their serious about encouraging new Burnley and Pendle businesses. No Limits has already supported around 900 new businesses across Pennine Lancashire, including Holt’s Fish and Chips, which featured on Sky Sports in the run up to Burnley’s game against Manchester United.
