Commendations for No Limits supported exporters
Monday 14th December
Three companies have been highly commended for their export successes, after receiving help from No Limits.
The three companies received the recognition from Chamber of Commerce East Lancashire’s International Trade Club. The awards recognise the – often unseen – work of exporters.
The three are:
- Blackburn interactive whiteboard manufacturer Promethean;
- Burnley’s Process Instruments, which provides measuring equipment to the water industry;
- Nelson-based Kirk Environmental, which provides equipment for the biogas injury.
Ed Murphy, International Trade Director at Chamber of Commerce East Lancashire said: “East Lancashire sets the bar for the North West on the quality of export companies. A lot of people don’t realise how many world beaters and how many really dynamic companies we’ve got. These are all examples of that sort of company: High technology, cutting edge and very very good at what they do.
“It’s nice to recognise all their effort and achievement.”
The companies had received advice from the Chamber funded by No Limits.
Steve Hoyle, No Limits’ Director, said: "Success in export benefits people across Pennine Lancashire, bringing jobs and prosperity.
"No Limits' has worked with the Chamber to support a wide range of exporters. The aim has been to take the mystery out of exporting and ensure firms have expert backup and advice. This award shows what can be achieved and is a tribute to the hard work of all three companies."
