Crumpets is certainly an upper crust sandwich bar

A woman from Accrington who took the plunge and opened her own sandwich bar four months ago said that business is booming and she has never looked back.

Crumpets Sandwich Bar on Stanley Street is a No Limits Get Set success story, after the business support initiative gave owner Debra Stevenson the advice she needed.

Debra used her own funding to buy the vacant retail space in August and after trading alone for a month, she turned to No Limits Get Set for additional support.

She said: “I had always dreamed of owning my own sandwich bar and when I saw the empty shop, I thought it was too good an opportunity to miss.

“I needed help with the paperwork side of the business, so when a relative told me about the No Limits Get Set team I went along to see if they could be of assistance,” Debra added.

“The grant has been invaluable which I am putting towards vital refurbishment costs,” Debra added.

Whether it is a sandwich, panini, hot wrap or salad, it is made freshly to order right in front of you at Crumpets Sandwich Bar.
