East Lancs Chamber predicts a good week for business
Wednesday 11th November
It’s a good time to be in business. That’s the message from Chamber of Commerce East Lancashire, as the area prepares to be part of a worldwide week of events.
Global Entrepreneurship Week runs from 16 – 20 November, celebrating the work of business and enterprise, and encouraging the development of new and existing businesses.
As part of the week, run by No Limits, existing businesses are being reminded that there is a wealth of support available to them.
Mike Damms, Chief executive of the Chamber of Commerce, said:
"This is a good time to be in business. The economy is gently turning on to the up, and the support is there to help businesses accelerate and develop. That's why they should make the call.
"We know that local businesses are committed to the area, and we are committed to them. No Limits takes the best of business support, including from the Chamber of Commerce, to ensure that businesses can grow and prosper."
Through No Limits, businesses can get free advice, mentoring from other successful business people, and finance.
And appropriately for an event that’s worldwide, business can even get support to go global and find growth internationally.
Ed Murphy, International Trade and Training Director at the Chamber, said:
"As the world economy recovers, for many companies there will be more and better order opportunities abroad than in the UK. The Chamber's highly experienced team can provide an extensive range of advice and practical support on exporting and importing, from what the right markets could be, through transport and shipping, to complying with customs regulations and getting paid."
Businesses who want to find out about the free advice and potential funding that is available should make the call to No Limits, free on 0800 612 2029 or click on www.no-limits.org.uk.
