Lancashire's budding entrepreneurs received free specialist advice on starting up or expanding a business at a Business Solutions event, held by No Limits.

Advisors from 15 organisations across Pennine Lancashire, including Hyndburn and Blackburn with Darwen Borough Councils, attended the event at the Globe Centre and offered a taster of what help and support is available when going it alone in business.

The No Limits programme has already helped over 250 businesses start up in the last year, and has arranged grants and loans to help businesses develop and grow.

Jennette Owen, business support officer at Hyndburn Borough Council said: "It is important to make people aware that No Limits offer advice and support every step of the way; from grants to finance solutions, technology support to product development to business mentoring."

Over 50 entrepreneurs attended the business solutions event to get advice on how to grow their businesses, nearly half of which have now entered the grant applications process with No Limits Finance For Growth.

Exhibitors included all No Limits partner projects as well as companies such as Business Link NW, North West Development Agency, Business Environment Association and Michelin.
