Pennine Lancashire marks 500th celebration

No Limits marked a major milestone by celebrating the launch its 500th newly formed business, despite the current economic downturn.

Television's Dave Guest hosted the event which comes just 18 months after the project's inception and little over six months since it met the 250 new businesses launched mark.

Tasked with generating business start-ups across Pennine Lancashire and promoting the idea of becoming the boss, No Limits began in earnest in early 2007 and has already made a major impact on the economic landscape.

Blackburn Firm HomeWorks was the milestone 500th businesses benefiting from the support and advice from No Limits.

Speaking at the celebration, HomeWorks Alan Curtis said: "No Limits has had a big, positive impact on our business. The support and advice we have received has made an incredible difference to us.

"I know that the other 499 businesses which went before me will feel the same. It is a remarkable achievement by the team."
