Star-studded bash marks Veritas launch

Friday 27th June

When the major players in Lancashire business attended the official launch of Veritas Solicitors it proved how far they had come in a short space of time.

The company was formed by Idris Natha and Mehboob Vadiya, who between them had 20 years' experience in the legal sector.

Idris has a background working in Manchester in real estate and Mehboob specialises in business between the Middle East and UK, as well as domestic and commercial law. They employed friend and experienced commercial and IT lawyer Khalil Bukhari as a consultant on data privacy, IT and e-commerce matters.

With this weight of experience behind them, Veritas was equipped to offer a strong service - but as with most new businesses it was the day-to-day running of a business  which they sought to strengthen.

To assist with this, they called Guardian Angels to help them through the process. Run by Blackburn's Community and Business Partners (CBP), a partner of No Limits, Guardian Angels are specialists in putting local businesses in touch with skilled entrepreneurs and business mentors.  Veritas was paired with John Ormerod late last year and the partnership soon blossomed.

At the firms' official launch in February, the guest list included such luminaries as Lord Adam Patel, The Right Honourable Jack Straw and The Worshipful The Mayor of Blackburn with Darwen, amongst many others.
