Sweet taste of success

Wednesday 10th February

Businesswomen from across Pennine Lancashire were joined by staff from multi-million pound business Thornton's at an event at Turf Moor, Burnley.

A team of three people from the chocolatier talked about the global firm, which started with just one shop in Sheffield in 1911.

And local businesses also had a chance to win Thornton's chocolate.

Sam Smallridge from No Limits Women Mean Business, which organised the event, said: "The event was very well received. It was a great chance for women to network and they went away buzzing!"
