Sometimes a small cash injection is all you need to really get going. Many No Limits projects provide advice on accessing funding; some provide grants themselves. Start-up money for the construction trade is available as are grants for women. Our projects can help with affordable loans and also grants to help develop or upgrade property and equipment.

So you’ve got your enterprise passion, you’re all ready to get started but you’re not quite sure how to keep the books? No problem, No Limits projects provide advice and training to help you keep the books in order and manage your finances.

I don’t know where to begin
You may think you don’t know where to begin but you’ve already taken the first step – you’re here! Starting an enterprising project can be daunting but No Limits projects know exactly how to give you the support you need. Help is available to anyone making a first move in business, or specifically for women starting in business and for anyone taking first steps in the construction industry.

I need training and support
A vast range of training and support is available through No Limits projects. Special support for sustainable construction businesses, long-term guidance for new business ventures and business workshops for women are just a few examples. We have dedicated support for community projects and those trying to make their community a better place. For young people who need help, we have a whole team of coaches running workshops and other training events. Shooting Stars uses football and other sports as the basis for supporting young people to develop their enterprising spirit and is available at Blackburn Rovers, Burnley and Accrington Stanley football clubs. We also provide mentoring through highly skilled and experienced, professional business people.

I don’t know much about computers
Don’t let computers hold you back! With No Limits you can master Information Communication Technology and use it to create a strong, ambitious enterprise. ICT support for women is also available.

Whichever field or industry you want to conquer, No Limits can help you establish the right links with suppliers and experts. We put Women in touch with top business advisors representing all sorts of professions. Available to everyone are our chighly skilled, experienced experts from a wide range of business sectors.

I’ve never run a business before
There’s a first time for everything and with No Limits on hand you certainly don’t have to go it alone. Even if all you’ve got right now is a vague idea of a project, there’s help available for you through our project workshops. There’s also dedicated support for young people in business and also for women.

I’m not sure how to create a project for my community
No Limits is always interested in helping individuals but, ultimately, we’re here to strengthen entire communities. If, like us, investing in the community is a priority for you, a number of our projects can show you how to do just that. We can help you set, up sustain and manage your own Community Enterprise Board. Business support is available for young people in the community and specific projects from Shooting Stars in Blackburn Rovers, Burnley and Accrington Stanley can give guidance on taking enterprise into your community.

I haven’t got the right skills
Making an enterprising project work can take all sorts of skills. You probably already have a lot of them. Perhaps you’re good at organising, making contacts or prioritising workloads. Your skills’ base is much bigger than you think. If there are a few areas where you could do with strengthening your skills or even learning new ones, No Limits projects can help. We also provide mentoring through highly skilled and experienced, professional business people.

I don’t have any premises
Sometimes all you need is a bit of decent office space. No Limits’ Enterprise Havens in Burnley, Ewood Park, Nelson, ACE Centre Accommodation in Nelson, and Furthergate can provide offices equipped with everything you need to run a successful enterprise. Meeting and training rooms, free on-site parking, super-fast broadband and lots more is on offer for new businesses.

I need advice on financial matters
You may not have the confidence to deal with financial matters right now but there’s no reason why you can’t develop strong skills in this area. Technological assistance, support for women and loans and bookkeeping support are three areas No Limits projects lend advice to potential entrepreneurs of every ability level. We also provide mentoring through highly skilled and experienced, professional business people.
