Business Investment Deals
Most businesses need a financial boost to help them prosper from time to time. Business Investment Deals (BID) provides one-stop financial support for start-up and growth businesses - no matter what level of investment they’re looking for.
We offer affordable loans of up to £5,000 through Lancashire Country Council / LEGI (No Limits) and if you’re in need of a larger investment we can provide those too. Loans of up to £500,000 are available through Rosebud Finance. What’s more, bookkeeping support is available to businesses taking part in the scheme, so you'll be able to monitor your finances closely.
As part of the Business Investment Deal, we need anyone who receives investment to act as a ‘champion’ in their community. In practice, this means you’ll be asked to promote the project to other businesses that might be able to benefit.
The BID programme is open to all start-up and growth businesses within Pennine Lancashire, especially those in disadvantaged areas.
Through the BID scheme you can receive:
- Loans of up to £5,000 through Lancashire Country Council / LEGI (No Limits)
- Larger loans from £5,000 to £500,000 (for all businesses in Lancashire except Blackpool and Blackburn with Darwen*)
- Bookkeeping support to help you keep on top of your accounts
- Loans are made available in Blackburn with Darwen through LEGI funding
